The Budweiser commercial thread got me thinking of my collection of Budweiser mugs and Christmas steins. Way back in high school I started collecting them. Then just after college, I had a garage sale and sold everything.
But, years later I started finding them again in thrift stores and when decently priced, antique shops. They are pretty cool, and I just looked, they average around $10 to $30, unless rare. I haven't looked into which ones are rare.
But they are pretty cool. Not made in America. Most of them are made in Brazil, or used to be at least. They are still being made and sold, not sure where the current steins are from.
I think I've got around 30 of them. Along with some other brands. You can see an "Old Style" brand stein in the picture. And some are in the boxes. Not pictured is the stein of the three frogs. That one is pretty cool..box and everything.
and this one. I thought there were three frogs? One for each syllable of Budweiser.
