I was able to get something checked off my list today. I've been wanting one of these for a long time.
1948 Smith K22. Some honest wear, which is fine because it's gonna get shot for sure.

P.s this may be in the wrong forum, I put it in the collectible forum but if I'm mistaken let me know. 🙂

I have to ask, what is a LERK?
Large ejector rod knob. They had leftovers from pre-war production. First couple of years post war, they came with these larger knobs. After they exhausted their supply, they started knurling the end of the rod. They were on all three Masterpiece models.

I've been fortunate to having shot a few of those. Luckily,, it was when I was a lot broker, and couldn't afford the "expensive" Smiths,, but could occasionally get a Ruger to use as a shooter. I know I wouldn't pass up a sweet one like that.
