Bought a new Mark 3

This is a 22/45 style pistol. It has a small SS barrel inside of a dark green outer barrel. Does anyone know what distributor asked Ruger for green barrel?

The green 22/45 Light was a regular Ruger offering. Catalog number P45MK3ALRPOVU-OD (Ruger model 3912).

The "outer barrel" is the receiver. Ruger will not replace that.

Why do you want another?

mohavesam The gun is new so no I don't need another. I had heard Tactical solutions had produced the colored barrels,and distributors requested the color they wanted.
