I picked one up (not bought) at a gun show but it was tied closed and other than feel / heft there's not much to say about it but I can see why they're not popular.

You know now that I looked at it again, I think I shot one just about a month ago... my only recollection is it went boom and the bullet hit the target.

The barrel being so low must make for a strange recoil. I’d like to shoot one.

My son has one. in .357 I think. He says recoil is nil. The mechanism to get the bottom of the cylinder to fire is a nightmare.

I shot one that the irrigation worker had at an old ranch house I was remodeling. Still had.a fair amount of recoil but more of a straight back recoil impulse than my ported 4" .357. Sure was an ugly beast though.

I have fired many rounds through the 4 inch version at the gun shop and indoor range i work at. The Rhino is a striker fired with a bottom firing barrel. The recoil impulse is definitely a different feeling. It is more straight back then up like most revolvers, very little muzzle rise compared to other revolvers of comparable bbl length. Felt recoil even with some of the most stout .357 Mag loads is very manageable, and a fluffy kittens cat with .38's. Not my first choice of handgun, but i don't think its a bad choice. Very unique and a bulky revolver.

My local shop has one and it has been in the case for a long time, wasn't interested and didn't even ask to look at it. Bought the blue GP100 setting next to it though.
