Wasnt real sure where to post so figured id throw it here for general purposes.

Im struggling to find an anyone locally that will/can thread a barrel, or thread a barrel with me having confidence in them due to lack of communication or knowing anyone that has history.

Any places that would be recommended to send barrels off to for threading?

Main gun for getting threaded is a 77/357, but wouldnt mind sending a MK II, 10/22, and a bolt gun in .223 just because if i can do it all in one shot. I know 10/22 barrels are cheap though.

I thread my own because I enjoy working on things and am impatient.

Adco used to have reasonable services, not sure how communicative they are these days.

77/357 might be the worst of the ones you list. Tapered barrel, have to move front sight, and probably best left attached to the receiver makes it a job with lots of setup time involved.

All the ones you list have viable threaded models available. You'll probably be money ahead selling what you have and buying what you want.

A good Friend of mine has a lathe and does mine. I bought 22, 264, and 308 cal range rods to indicate off of. Bit he has yet to thread a bbl where you coodnt hav indicated off OD of bbl and it worked.

Have yall used them before?
I have. They'll send you a box and a soft rifle case to send the barrel to them. You have to strip the gun, including the trigger, But can leave the action attached. They'll send it back to you in the soft rifle case which you keep. Takes about 3 weeks. Total cost - $125 including shipping both ways. Well worth it.

"Common machines shops" will often 'indicate' off the outside diameter leading to mis-alignment of the suppressor mount. Another potential issue is the use of a tapered centering pilot that damages the muzzle crown.
