Recently I had occasion to search for born-on dates for a Single-Six in 32 H&R and a just purchased Speed-Six. In both cases, Ruger's own database came up with the pinball machine equivalent of "TILT". Nothing, Dave doesn't live here, Go away officer, sir!
That search referred me to another option just below it, which effectively thinks these two guns never existed, at all.
Is there some special incantation or perhaps another search engine of which I am unaware?

Single Six: 650-10XXX
Speed Six: 160-22XXX

Your Speed Six is mid-80s.
They’re all on Ruger’s web site lookup.
Just follow the instructions.

Serial numbers prior to about the year 2000 don't pop up.

Look farther down the page, you'll find a drop-down menu for different models.

Is the prefix on your Single-Six possibly just "65," vs. "650?"
OK… now I’ve seen the error of MY ways! 🤭

Here's the page showing your Speed-Six:

Definitely 650, not 65. And the drop-down menu was already tried, neither gun appeared. Thanks for the dates, BTW.

^ This! ^
If the site says your guns not found, scroll down to the box that allows you to select guns made prior to 2000.
