BLUE Loctite

I do, and I use it on the frame screws and I use it on the base pin latch nut. I use it wherever a screw comes loose because the 'Blue' doesn't harden and I can back the screw out if I want to. :D

Actually Blue Loctite (more correctly, Grade 242) does indeed harden or cure but it is not a high strength thread locker so you can remove the screws with hand tools and no heat.

IMO 242 paste does not harden on unexposed threads and "boogers up" in exposed areas. 242 liquid dries to a crust in either situation. I use the 242 paste at work A LOT.

Purple or 222 light weight, Blue or 242 medium strength general use Red or 271 high strength might need heat to release smaller fastener Green or 292? permanent will wick into threads good enough to seal porosity in aluminum die castings.

I use blue on all the screws. They stay put for years. Never a problem getting them out when I want to.
