It's probably "inferior" in some way, as far as somebody is concerned. Maybe it doesn't function well in their super-tight custom $6000 1911, or maybe it's not as accurate as their preferred $35 per box ammo. I once talked to a guy who thought all Federal ammo was "crap", including their Gold Medal Match stuff (which he had never tried). Same is probably true of all factory ammo and reloads, too - somebody somewhere thinks it's "inferior" (or "the absolute best " ;^) for some reason.
As always IMHO, FWIW, YMMV, etc., etc.

I haven’t shot much Blazer Brass but, I’ve shot multiple cases of the aluminum cased Blazer in 9mm and 45 acp and never had a problem.
Never had an issue with either the aluminum or brass cases in a number of different calibers. Only firearm I won't use it in is my Marlin 1894 .44 Mag lever action because the manual says not to.
Never a problem with Blazer, but they do use a small primer in 45 acp - at least in the ammo I’ve acquired recently.

I've shot lots of 9mm and .45 and the only problem has been my Glock 30 tears up the aluminum cases instead of ejecting them.
Seems like I've shot some in the past but really don't remember how it did... I think I've heard from the internet that sometimes it is sketchy in some guns... but you know low budget ammo is great for practice.... I just would not 'carry' it or have it in a home defense weapon sitting at the ready. But then I personally don't buy cheap guns, or pretty much cheap anything but I will try cheap ammo. But then, as Jimmy Buffett said, "I've made enough money to buy Miami .... and I p!$$d it away so fast.... but it was never meant to last."

About 25 / 30 years ago our local Fred Meyers store decided to quit selling ammo. I bought six 50 round boxes of 357 magnum Blazer ammo for $6.99 a box. I wish they had more of it for sale. My S.S. Blackhawk loves it and I still have two boxes of it.

Works fine in my LPC
Their 9MM FMJ offerings are slower and less consistent than S&B or PMC, both of which BTW still load .45ACP cartridges using large primers....And as an added bonus, neither of those two cost a bit more than Blazer Brass. So to me, what the question comes down to is "why bother?".

hey how are you ? saw you on face book, been using blazer for years, no problems for me
I shoot lots of blazer never had an issue. I even have some aluminum 380 and 45 it ran perfectly but I do prefer brass that way at the range I can sweep it up in the brass pile and not in the separate trash pile

I even reloaded a couple of rounds just to see if they would work.

When I got my Lever Action in 45LC, the Dealer gave me 4 boxes of Blazer ammo to "protect the Homestead with"!. It shoots fine for me!

Mine was Aluminum cases, I don't remember what bullet was on them
Good stuff! I always keep a supply of Blazer Aluminum cased ammo around, in various centerfire semi-auto cartridges. For whenever I feel like some impromptu backyard shooting, and without having to worry about policing up any and all reloadable brass casings afterwards. It's an OCD thing for me...I've been out there searching with a flashlight after dark on numerous occasions before.

CCI uses the Speer Gold Dot bullet in it's aluminum 45 Colt loads. Great bullet for SD.

I have used aluminum cased in the past. I only had difficulties with one pistol. The spent case got stuck in the chamber. I suspect that pistol (an old Kel-Tec P-11) had a chamber that was a little tighter than my other 9mm pistols at the time. Aluminum doesn't slide as well as brass or steel.
