Blackhawk for IHMSA

The other night I was reading an old book on the history of the International Handgun Metallic Shooting Association (IHMSA). I had been to a few matches 20 years ago but never new that the Ruger Blackhawk was as popular as the book mentioned. I am curious; does anyone on the forum compete with a Blackhawk?

I did back then. 10" Stainless Super, 6.5" 41 and 6.5 ss single six. Wanted 9.5" ss single six BAD.

I competed in the early '80's with a NMBH in 41 Mag. Best was 29/40 in production standing. As I recall I loaded a 220 gr. Sierra over 20 grains of IMR-4227. Was lots of fun!
