I am a newbie and wondered what is the difference between a blackhawk su[er blackhawk redhawk and super redhawk??

Thanks I now understand that the blackhawks are single action and redhawks double actdion. I further understand that the super models are heavy duty

The Blachkawks are much lighter for carrying. The Redhawks are a very strong and a bit heavier. I really like both and miss my Redhawk!

It's kind of a matter of if you like single action or double action. Both are great guns!

FYI, the Super BH and the BH are on the same large frame, so no difference strength wise. The exception is the .44Spec BH which is on the medium frame.
