black hawk pricing question

I just made a deal for a River Blackhawk in .357 mag. Looked up the ser# and its date of manufactor is 1978. About 80% condition no box or papers. What would a fair price be?

Spell check got ya!
$300 +/- $25 if I'm imagining 80% as you intended.

I agree, in the $300 maybe $350 range depending on other things like does it have the box/manual ,any trigger work etc.,new model or three screw. Three screw (OM) Rugers bring a premium usually.
Here is what a new one can be had for.

Trigger seems nice. I was told it had a trigger job. Its a newer Ruger and not a 3 screw. The only extra is an old "western" style holster. The guy wants $350. I think it might be a fair price.
I had checked "gunbroker" and they were in the mid 400 range...I thought that was a bit high.

Thanks

"River" I guess spell check did get me...it almost did it again with this post.

Thanks all.

It doesn't look too bad for being a 1978. You can tell its been used. But the bore and chambers were clean. The furniture shows most of the wear and a little blueing off the muzzle from holster wear. Ser# is 34-34XXX
