Bisley rebarrel question.

I am thinking of rebarreling my 7.5" blued Bisley to a 5.5" or possibly just cutting off two inches and installing a new sight.

Can ya'll give me the pros and cons of each and give me a couple of names that can do a good job with either of the ways.

This is on a factory Blackhawk bisley grip frame 45 Colt.

Lots of guys can cut it down and redo the front sight. I had a 41 bisley done by Bowen into his Perfected bisley package and could not have been happier.
Here is an old model bisley conversion with a 5 1/2" barrel to see what one looks like lengthwise.
