I tortured you on the other forum, I'll be good. ;)

Gotta love the Bisleys! :)

I have two questions.

#1 What happened to the frame's finish?

#2 How in the heck can someone hit anything using the ACP cylinder with that wonderfully tall front sight that's perfect for shooting 325 grain bullets at 1200 fps?

:D

1. It's the lighting in the room.

2. Don't know. Keep it close and dirty and it won't matter much!!

My SS Ruger .45 Colt/.45 ACP Convertible has plenty of adjustment in the sights to shoot both .45 ACP and .45 Colt loads.

My "standard" .45 ACP target load is only 4.0 grs of Bullseye (or equivalent) with a 200 gr SWC and I am able to adjust the sights to shoot to POA with them.

My "standard" .45 Colt load is the NOE Lyman 454424 250 gr bullet and 8.5 grs of Unique and I can adjust the sights to shoot POA with that load also.

I haven't shot any "barn burners" with heavy bullets, so I cannot comment on that.

My Blackhawk shoots the .45 Auto better than the .45 Colt. It's like a laser with those things.

But the .45 Colt is more fun!

Only one, I was expecting to see a Jay Leno collection... That will cover most bases, though a Single Six as an understudy makes sense.

It would make sense. Maybe Ruger will just offer a Bisley kit, the way Brownells does, the way they used to sell brass frames? Hint, Hint.
