I was fortunate to bring this beautiful big iron home yesterday. I am planning for a range day on Thursday to give it a little exercise. I love John Gallagher's work and this is no exception. I thought I would share a couple photos.

You won a big prize there,,, congrats.

A thumbs up you mentioning intentions to shoot it. Some might make it a lonely safe queen.
I only have two guns in my safe that haven't been shot...and I am always tempted (a 3.5" Registered Magnum I had engraved). The other is a Gallagher lightweight in 458-400. I haven't fired the lightweight because I have yet to find any ammo or dies for making it.

Fortunately, this one has already had a few cylinders through it. I will be overjoyed to send many more down range.
