The living corpse of San Francisco Ca USA
A final (I hope) smack in the chops from 2021...
We lost a beautiful, smart and talented lady. I hope that she is reunited with her much loved husband, Allen Ludden... I remember watching "Life With Elizabeth " when I was a little kid and following her ever since.
What a loss!

Hi,

I stopped for my almost daily taco and cup of coffee this morning. One of the ladies got a call from her daughter. I heard her ask "Are you sure?" before she hung up and turned to tell me the news. The tears were running down her face so badly she could hardly speak. I'm sure millions felt exactly the same.

What a wonderful lady she was, and I hope the world can wake up tomorrow with her memory leading them into a better year than some we've had! Rest in peace, Betty, and as Jeff already did, I wish you are back with Allen forever. Thank you for all the beautiful memories of your life.

Just a couple week short of a century, what amazing changes in the world she saw.

RIP Betty, you made us laugh with out being vulgar. A la Red Skelton. The question begging to be asked? Did Betty see the future and bailed? Either way, this classy lady will be missed!

One of her best quotes. I had to read it a couple times before, I got it.

“My answer to anything under the sun, like ‘What have you not done in the business that you’ve always wanted to do?’ is ‘Robert Redford’.”

I read this somewhere. It said something like "if you die at 99 years old and everyone thinks you died too soon, you must have lived a truely remarkable life."

RIP Betty
