I think that the only one of his movies that I watched from beginning to end was "The Sting." Never saw "Butch and Sundance" or "Jerimiah Johnson."

"Jeremiah Johnson" might hold up, although I remember it as just a meh film when it came out. I saw "The Sting" and "Buth Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" in theaters when they came out and I seem to remember enjoying them, but fairly recently "The Sting" was on a cable channel and it was literally unwatchable. Slow and dull where the best thing were the commercials every two or three minutes.

That film was largely responsible for the resurgence of interest in blackpowder firearms, and muzzleloading culture that occurred in throughout 1970's-80's.
And, I personally have loved everything about it ever since.

Making jokes in a memorial post is in my humble opinion in poor taste.

I liked a few of his movies,, but once I learned of his real life beliefs,, I chose to not support his stuff.
But even though I preferred to not make any real comments,, I was raised to not speak ill of the dead out of respect for the families.

I just finished watching Jeremiah Johnson even though I had seen it long ago it is still a great movie. The filming location is spectacular, and it had to be tough filming in the rough terrane and cold.
I liked most all of his movies some more than others.
