I have a stainless Super Blackhawk that just didn't really do much for me. I bought it used, but if it had a box of shells through it I would be surprised. It is in immaculate condition, and it was just too good a deal to walk away from.

I was never really a big fan of Bisley's until I bought my Turnbull CCH'ed 45 Colt, and now I'm a believer.

I found a stainless bisley grip frame with all the necessary parts and pieces and did a little swapping. While the SBH was nice, this suits me much better!

I too have a "Bisley-ized" Super Blackhawk Stainless with a 4-5/8inch barrel... What a great handgun. I love this barrel length.

Stellar idea!!!!!! I have the blued version recently discontinued and have the same stainless you started with, so here I sit thinking why didn't I think of that?
I guess I have a project to start
Where did you source the parts?
Thanks for posting

I prefer the Bisley frame myself. It didn't take me long when ruger came out with the Bisley to see what we had been missing in the sporting guns field, it didn't take long and mine were all Bisley's. Not only a nice look'n piece you made their, but much more shooter friendly now, Well Done!

Nice job, nothing like a personalized gun!

The sq back trigger guard and Bisley grip frames bang my knuckles. So I used the SBH Hunter GF, it has the most space behind the trigger guard of any Ruger GF.

Where can I find a left-handed NM Blackhawk in .357? Or do they only make them in the SBH model? I've searched gunbroker and Bud's gunshop, can't find 'em there. Any ideas?

You even moved the loading gate and ERH to the other side! Nice!

:)
It is surprising easy to swap the loading gate and ER assembly to the other side if you change the name of the gun to a TLA :D

Maybe I missed it but what caliber is it? I have the blued version of what you started with in .44 Mag.
I shoot handguns mainly left handed but the loading gate on the right doesn't seem to bother me.
Great job on the conversion too!
