I was at the local dealer and found a bearcat (90-01xxx) I couldn't be without. The previous owner had modified the plow style grip to a "belly gun" configuration. The dealer tried to sell it as a shop keeper and I told him it was not. I do not have a shop keeper to compare grips, so does anyone know if there is enough material in the grip frame to make a shop keeper out of it? Maybe someone can send me a shop keeper grip pattern. I would like to get some new grip panels but would need to modify anything factory to fit what I have now.

The stainless Shopkeepers were 95-xxxx serial numbers, I honestly do not know if the 'blued' version stays with the same group. The 90-xxxx serial number is from the 1969-70 era. Obviously then there is enough 'meat' to make a plow handle into a birds head.

I took possession of the revolver today and realized there is way to much material removed from the toe to make anything look good. I guess I'm stuck with what is on it :(
