Barrel Threads - Win 70 vs Ruger ???

Dumb question that might be easily answered with a bit of web browsing -
I have a few Winchester M70 barrels in storage. I also have a No.3 project gun.
Anyone know offhand the thread compatibility?

Thinking of a 300 WSM tube cut to 20" with a fwd scope mount, ala Frontier or No. 1 fwd rail... :shock:
Ruger will under Walnut control, of course.

Then again, a Ruger barrel would resolve the threading issue - I just cannot find the desired barrel in my travels. 8)

The barrel thread on a Ruger #1 and #3 is 1" X 16 tpi.

Older M-70's are also 1" X 16 tpi.

The new FN made M-70's is 1.125 X 28 tpi
