I agree with Hawkeye 28 I've used Marvel Mystry oil for years as a wipedown oil and as a lube.

Rev,I tend to go overboard in most everything!! I have always used brake cleaner to clean weapons but now keep eds red in a gallon tub. When I come home from shooting pistols I take off grips and soak in eds red and blow off with air hose. The lanolin in eds red really brings a luster out in blued guns and seems to really stay on. CanonLyles":1bqngor5 said:caryc, I think using ATF to free a siezed engine is the "official" remedy. At least to free the pistons from the cylinders. I've known it forever, but it was taught when I was Auto Tech at the Vo-Tech in high school.
