Some years ago, we lost our 16 year old daughter in an automobile accident. I completely went off the rails for a VERY long time.
Some members on this forum (and other forums) were especially kind to me during that time period.
I have reached out to several of them thanking them for the kindness.
Unfortunately, I sometimes get a little carried away and go a little bit over the top.
I am not looking for any pen pals and I am not wishing to intrude into anyone's lives.
I just wanted to let them know the kindness helped me A LOT.
So, I apologize if I have stepped on any toes.

Also, I would like to remind folks kind words DO help. Even if you do not think your words have any effect, they help.

I am not a wordsmith. Hope you all understand my message.

Steve from Idaho.

This is very true.

And so is the opposite which I think a lot of kids/teenagers forget these days. With social media and even texting, people can be really mean to each other.

I like this forum because that just doesn’t happen here.

Anyway 41Dude, I hope some sunny days are ahead for you.

From my perspective,, no apologies are necessary. You found a place to share, vent, and even channel grief via the good folks here.
We do have a lot of great folks here,, who look around,, and consider this a "big Ruger family." And when a member has loss or health issues, or whatever,, we support them. And when we have good stuff,, or great deals or heck, just a get together over coffee or a weekend,, again, it's like a big family.
We share joy as well as grief & strife.

No apologies necessary.
