For you married members.

I used to make the joke that no husband has ever been shot while washing dishes... but then either on this forum or the other one I used to be on some ex-LEO said he actually was on a case where the wife did shoot her husband while he was at the sink doing the dishes.... I guess he was doing a pretty poor job.

Wife went with me two weeks ago when I did my bi-annual primary care physician visit and the doc told me not to go on ladders anymore... Wife agrees with him... I now am pointing out to my wife that I broke my ankle back on Memorial Day running the weed waker down in the lower lot... seems to me like if I don't want to get hurt I need to stop working in the yard and especially waking weeds.... as with most things she does not agree with me.

Recuperating (sort of) from a really annoying tendon rupture in my guitar fretting hand pinky, I've been warned against vibration as it disrupts the healing process.

I don't mind doing the dishes (with a rubber glove over the splint). It's the least I can do in exchange for the wonderful meals Mrs. Teflon makes. Damn sight healthier too, I was a ticking time bomb as a bachelor.

Back to my wounded finger, Doc finally cleared me for all activities this week, including things that shake and vibrate. I'll let her know she doesn't need to mow the lawn anymore - probably in September or October.
