I have been shooting .204 factory Remington 32 gr. Accutipv in a DPMS 24 in. barrel with 1in12 twist with good results. I am saving my brass to reload and would like to hear what loads any of you might have worked up. Thanks.

I load TAC in mine with a 40 grain Nosler BT and a Rem 7 1/2 primer in Winchester cases. It shoots a half inch at 100 yards. The gophers around here don't like it much.

Mine likes the Berger 35 HP, 27.0 H335 and CCI mag primer.

Sounds just like my load except I use a CCI Bench Rest primer. I'm Shooting these in Remington Model 7

Thanks for the feed back, I'm getting 5 shot, 1/2 in. groups @ 100 yrds with the factory stuff I mentioned in the OP. Your replies will give me a start to working up a load for me play with.

I haven't found anything that doesnt give me good accuracy and I have tried H322, H335, WW748 and a couple more powders, mostly I shoot 32gr Vmax. Now I have a bunch of 40gr vmax so I will start working on other loads, but likely the same powders.

Love the 204. Best load is a Berger 35 with 28.0 of 4895. Second is a Sierra 39 with the same load. Third is the Hornady 32 with the same load. These are of course safe in my rifle in my hands. Your results may vary.

32gr V-Max with 27.8grs of Benchrest and whatever primer. I found federal match best for me. Little one hole groups with a heavy barrel Savage.
