Like the title asks, curious about PSA Daggers.
Anyone have experience with PSA Daggers?

I have two. The first one was complete as purchased, pretty early on when they became available. That one runs just fine... I wish it had a better trigger... but it is 100% Glock compatible... so I could put a better trigger in it eventually.
The second one I bought a complete lower from PSA when they were have a sale on Dagger lowers + PSA 5.7 lowers. Then later on I bought a complete Dagger upper from them... the one with the threaded barrel and Doctor optic cut. For whatever reason, the second has a perfectly decent trigger pull. I put a green dot on it and it is a great deal for the money.
My primary "issue" with the Dagger series... is just holsters. They don't fit in my G19 tight fitting Kydex holsters... the light rail and trigger guard is just different enough to be an issue. But the guns themselves are solid clones... just like all my Glocks.. they run 100%.

Have one, trigger is very Glock-like, therefore I don't shoot it very often (1911 guy). No problems encountered, seems to be well built.
I own one, got a fantastic deal from PSA (gun, nice nylon carrying case, 10 Magpul 15 rnd magazines for just over $400). Works fine, it's my truck gun and I won't be upset if I HAVE to use it and it gets confiscated during the investigation. I'll bring it to the East Coast Gathering (well duh! it's in my truck :rolleyes: )
I have one. I like the trigger on mine. When I first bought mine the magazine catch was very stiff. It wore in & is fine now. I haven't been carrying it but I like it a lot. 3rd generation Glock 19 parts & magazines will work with it. The two things that are different are the locking block & the pins. The Dagger uses roll pins instead of solid pins like Glock.

I bought a blem frame on sale for $49 and then waited on a sale for the complete upper. All in (not including the red dot) I'm at $260. It's the first Glock style handgun I've had and I must say it is fairly accurate. I'm sure it will only get better as I become more accustomed to the trigger.

You can insert the mag about 99% (stop just before the mag catch clicks into place) and leave it there for a few days or longer - that seems to speed up the 'breaking in' process!

For anyone who might prefer a Ruger, I've noticed that used Security-9s often sell for well under $200, over on GunBroker. Hard to beat that deal, also!

My issue with the Dagger is the grip angle is still a little off. I really like the IWI Masada. IWI reliable and accurate, optic ready, threaded barrel, under $500
I've been thinking about one if those, since I read that the mags are almost identical to Ruger SR9 mags and will fit & function in a Ruger PCC 9mm. Any chance somebody can verify that full-size Masada mags work in the PCC, using the SR9 mag well?

Like a member above I'm a 1911 guy, but I have been training newbies a lot lately and they have, or want to play with, Glocks. That's my driving factor into getting a Glock, or clone. Since it is more just for play I really don't want to spend a lot.

If you sign up for their E-mails or to get notices when deals come back in stock you can get some good deals. Some things sell out very quickly though. From time to time PSA runs a deal on a complete optic cut Dagger slide with a Holosun 407K for about $320. They are about $100 dollars more than that right now. I am tempted because I'd like to play with/learn to use a dot optic on a pistol without putting one on my carry piece until I am familiar with using a dot.

That is still not a bad deal. Glock OEM magazines are only about $22 dollars a piece (I have seen KCI & Magpul mags cheaper. You could buy the pistol & pick up a couple of magazines & still be under or around $300 depending on shipping & transfer costs.
Absolutely! And the complete Daggers actually ship from PSA with Magpul 9mm mags, which as you mentioned are cheaper than Glock factory mags (an option if you don't mind an aftermarket mag in an aftermarket pistol ;^).

A Micro Dagger will be dropping soon.
They keep saying that. They have released the slides & magazines. The frame is still vaporware though. I'm not opposed to getting one but I won't be one of the first to lay their money down. 6 months to a year after it is released I might be interested.

Well, the pieces arrived. They fit together fine. The compact shoots well. I didn't put any on paper, but I was ringing the 6" gong at 25 yards without issue. I had a couple misses that had me shaking my head, but without paper I am not 100% sure of the POA/POI alignment.
Now the full size is a different matter. PSA's support said they took the same mag. They don't, so I don't have a mag for the full size and can't try it. That will be rectified locally today.
Bottom line I am happy so far. I have $555 into two decent guns with four mags (including X-fer fees). So roughly $275 each. I can live with that.
