I think I am going to have a chance to pickup a PC4 at a very reasonable price. I also may have a chance at a PC9 which I've wanted for a while. Any advise on either of these?

I'm looking at the PC4 mainly because of price and I may not be able to get the PC9.

Very reliable little carbines, you are going to love them. Buy them while you can... most owners hang on to these, and prices keep going up.

The heavy trigger takes a little getting used to, but you will get familiar with it fairly quickly. It's not a super-accurate target rifle, but is very adequate as a SD weapon out to 50-60 yards which is what it's designed for.

Buy LOTS of ammo for it (them), you going to need it.

The PC's are great.

And, unless you're really spoiled, I would not worry too much about the trigger. No heavier than any battle rifle trigger I've ever used.

I own a PC4, but have also shot PC9's. Early gun-writer reports said the .40 was more accurate, but I really couldn't see a difference between the two.

Yep, get either one, while ya can.

WAYNO.

Even though there are more of them, I would pass on the PC4 or if it is a great deal, less than 425, then buy it and resell. Get the PC9... much easier on the wallet with ammo and then go the P95 route with a pistol and you got it covered at least with practicing and not burning a hole in your wallet pocket....

Yes, I know the 9mm is a whimp round and won't stop a full grown grizzly or gang banger... but then my personal opinion has always been that if they come at me they are not going to get one 9mm round...probably a full or close to it magazine.
