We just buried a Euless officer who was killed in an ambush two weeks ago.......

This was in Fort Worth: Officer made it thru surgery and is now in ICU with multiple gunshot wounds. Primary suspect was killed in the gunfight. A second suspect who initially fled has now been captured in the same wooded area where this took place.

There are now some functions being held and T-Shirts being sold to help the cause. Look thru the following posts for more info.
Here is the T-Shirt link: http://ftwmetro.org/fwpd-teampearce-fundraiser/

Just watched the 11:00 news and he is still listed in critical condition but as of right now is expected to survive. They were not specific about how many gunshot wounds but they did say "multiple". One shooter, the father was killed and the other, the son was captured and has been charged.

Prayers continue.

An update on this. Officer Pearce is still in critical condition but is now breathing on his own. There is a fundraiser at this site http://ftwmetro.org/fwpd-teampearce-fundraiser/. Scroll down if you would like to buy a T-shirt.

Fifteen North Texas Chick-fil-A locations are partnering with local police departments to support injured Fort Worth Police officer Matt Pearce.
From 5-9 p.m. on Monday, police officers and volunteers will sell special T-shirts for $10. The restaurant's participating locations will also donate 20 percent of sales to Pearce's family.

Wheelgun: We don't have a Chick-Fil-A out here in the boonies so we just bought a couple of the T-shirts and chipped in a little more. Sure glad some folks are paying attention.

By the way, how are you liking your new digs? We need to meet sometime, some restaurant in Ennis? Not to many good ones there but a few. Bubbas isn't horrible, Taco Cabana is good for a quick enchilada or taco. The Wall is fairly decent Chinese. The best burger joint moved to Waxahachie. Give us a holler, we can meet anytime during the week. I work Sat, Sun, and Mon.. Double, Double single shift to get 40 hours.
