Another interesting human archeological find

When I was 6 or 7, another neighbor kid and me were down in the salt water meadow when he jumped across a small stream. His leg went into the mud up to his crotch, and when we finally got him out, his sneaker was still down there. Wish I could be there 6,000 years from now when someone finds it. :)

These recent discoveries, including the footprints at White Sands, are extremely interesting to me because I never lost my younger-age fascination with prehistory. Someday scientists will figure out a way to examine the ocean coasts to do archeology of the areas which were submerged after the last ice-age. Then much unexpected stuff will emerge.

what I get a kick out of are the dates applied to anything they find. No one seems to be able to explain why we have human footprints right beside dinasoars.

They recently found a nearly perfectly preserved reptile dinasoar and through scientific brilliance they determined it died in a flash flood. Who would have thought? Wait....

Scientists have to have a system that dates everything much older than it is. They start with that is as their premise and work forward. Why? Everything has to be old and there needs to be millions of years for evolution to work which was always Darwin's "what if".

hell they still cannot figure out how after all these years the pyramids and other such "old, ancient stuff" is still standing and we cannot built a bridge to last 20 years anymore ( I know there are some bridges by my elders are still sanding when built during the depression,,,,hmmmmm):rolleyes:

I believe those footprints found in White sands go way, way back before the earliest of then "known" folks coming across the borders........;)

What I don’t understand is all humans now are the same species. Even though we can look drastically different. Yet there have been at least 5 human species that existed. All but one species went extinct.

Makes me wonder why we haven’t gone extinct yet. It really seems inevitable.
