Nice one Doc, believe you got that right after I sold you the early Dec gun if I remember correctly, been a while, and that mine had the walnuts ,one of the first ones???:cool:;)
...and I believe I had #111 at one time, and sold it to Bill E.,as he had said it was his birthday?? and another collector friend his birthday was Jan .11, Not Nov. 1.....can't make everyone happy.....

Ah yes, shes still 'pretty' ,wish I knew where the one we sold to Bill E back then ,,after he passed and Rock island auctions sold off his collection the family has NO clue where or what happened and let alone what the prices were, as my wifes "nephew" ended up getting one of the 44 Supers for less money at the auction than we had offered the family, oh well...Bill being my "dealer " back in the days after we closed the shop and gave up the last FFL , Bill got LOTS of stuff that came my way, even like that 10 inch 44 flatop box we got out from under JD at Tulsa many ,many years, and the 44 10in boxed with factory stags, that too is long gone, and I sold him that one for $1600,,,,,yikes those were the days.......:rolleyes:;)
wish I had taken pictures of some of those guns but that was before I even knew about digital cameras, and I still know little ,nothing about them ,heck I see cell phone camera work as good or better and I don't even have one of them......:(
