It arrived today and as expected it's near perfect. Lockup like a tank, it has a tiniest bit of creep in the crisp trigger, and I could not find a flaw in the finish. I already have a set of Pachmayr's on order for it.

Range time next week after I pressure wash my roof.

I had its twin back in the '90's, stupid accurate at 100 yards. Kinda wish it were still here, but I let someone talk me out of it.

What year was that made?
According to the Ruger site, 2024
Thats pretty cool gnappi , the roof can wait ...
I would be shooting that monster..
Not when my city fines you $100 PER DAY for not completing a code violation :-(

I'll be taking a couple of my other .44 titans when I do go.

I really like shooting 5" large bores but sometimes there's just nothing like a couple of extra inches, and my GF agrees... about barrel length, sight radius, and recoil control. Dirty minds! :)

I had one of the early tapered barrel 10.5" Supers, and that one was capable of smashing bricks @100 yards to the point of boredom.
Sure wish I'd held on to that one, but it was traded towards something else I was convinced that I needed more at the time. 😤

I hesitated
Be careful on that roof. My dad fell off his and busted his femur.
I hesitated to hit "like" not wanting to imply someone falling off the roof is a good thing :)

But, I've cleaned my tile roof as needed for the last 20 years and I think I have it down. Hopefully I'll be able to do it into my 80's?
