Both LGS are loaded down with ammo, including 380. My favorite shop even had some 300 packs of CCI Mini Mags with some guy's picture on the box (don't know who he is and don't care).

Aim Surplus has Geco, including 380, and Cabela's even has some good 380 selection on their site. If your LGS doesn't have it you can probably find it on the innerwebs.

The LGS owner predicted the 22 drought is soon to be over. He senses the hoarders are starting to give up. Time will tell.

Now if the powder will only come back!

Went to Cabelas yesterday. They had Bulk Rem ammo buckets of 1400 rnds, Win. boxes of 500 rnds, Rem Golden 100 rnd boxws, CCI SV 50 rnd boxes and more and Bins of 9mm in the aisle and shelves full of everything else. Thought I was dreaming 'til I woke up today and saw 2 buckets on my table.
Brought the wife and bought 2 buckets of golden bullets. I don't think it's over yet. I've seen spurts like this before .

I haven't paid much attention to the .22 drought but the cartridges that I do use have been widely available again for quite a few months now. Prices have been dropping significantly too. Just as an example, I've watched 5.56 Green tip drop from it's high of $1 a pop, get down to $.60, then get below $.50, down to $.43...and...the last I bought was .$39, came packed in a USGI ammo can, and shipped for free.

Hopefully, availability for all of it will soon follow along, and hopefully, prices will continue to get better. In the mean time, I kinda feel like I'm playing the stock market every time I buy some...will it go down some more from here?...should I wait, or should I buy this sale while it's on sale?...what if there's another politicly-fired panic looming?...plus, inflation never sleeps does it...what to do, what to do?....

Kinda makes my head spin.

Today, I still don't know a single store that I could just go to and buy any rimfire ammo. I am occasionally finding small quantities by accident, and although it is still scalper-priced in any store here, it's not as high as it was.

WAYNO.

Yesterday Cabela's had Remington Golden Bullets on their web site @ $3.99/50.

Perhaps another sign the 22 drought in nearing an end.

And every time I've tried ordering this stuff, they are out of inventory with no back order.

WAYNO.
