Friend at the range just bought a standard wrangler, The cylinder is extremely difficult to load rounds at the loading end but slip right in at the front of the cylinder. (any .22 ammo) Cleaned thoroughly and no joy, Any suggestions?
Thank You all in advance.

I'd call Ruger first thing in the morning.
Unless a simple and gentle cleaning brush would fix it WITHOUT attaching it to a Dremel or drill.
But it don't sound that simple.

Some S&W M17s exhibit that problem. Finish ream the chambers, and they work just like they're supposed to. Call Ruger, and make them fix it. I'm betting that they'll replace the cylinder.
