Amazon dropping reloading supplies?

I received an email this morning from a seller of once-fired brass I had evidently purchased from through Amazon. They said Amazon has started to "enforce" their policy of not selling ammunition or components, that many such ads had already been removed, and the rest would probably soon follow.

As of this morning, Starline Brass, at least, is still listed on the Amazon website, but I have not checked other brands, or reloading equipment.

Strange because just the other day I was ordering something firearm related from Amazon and thinking it was strange that they still handled such items, considering their company politics.

I buy a lot of reloading stuff from Amazon, dies and Starline brass. They have good prices. I wonder if it's because of the once fired aspect? Or perhaps the other company wasn't happy with Amazon and was trying to stir up something?

I just looked and Amazon has lots of supplies for reloading.

I will check this out and if it is true, I will ad Amazon to my list of people that I don't do business with. 8)

I also checked and saw reloading stuff still on their site. I may a lot from them because of price and ease of ordering, receiving. This being said, I had problems with some orders of Lee die sets - packaging damaged, once even a metal piece "boogered up". Lee advised me to order direct from them, as they had no control over Amazon. Stuff like brass, though, I've gotten a to of through them.

Also going to be watching to see how this works out.

The govt is squeezing everyone. Do as I say or pay more taxes, more regulations or stop selling what I say.
However, business now sees there is no stopping the govt regs or taxes. They will continue to squeeze until
I'm out of business.
No matter what I do, they add new regs so I must charge more or go out of business. Its ROUND ROBIN, never stops.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
The only components I remember seeing/buying from Amazon was brass, both new and "once fired". A lot of tools and equipment, but no bullets, primers, or powders. Just checked and saw a few cases for sale...

Friend of mine has been a big seller of Starline brass on Amazon for several years and he told me that about a month ago he got directives telling him that he needed to find another outlet as gun related products were being phased out and as of a date that I don't remember, they would not allow shooting products ads to be placed. Matter of fact, he said their software was already dumping some of his ads at the time he was telling me. He was having to skirt it someway then. He has since, cut the price to cost and liquidated the 100,000 cases he had in inventory. He is quitting...said he hated it as he had done well with it.

Well we survived before Amazon and I'm sure we can continue without it!

Some people here in CA have been complaining that Amazon won't ship sights to CA anymore. Sounds like it's a whole Amazon thing not just isolated to CA. Somebody needs to start eGun.com and show eBay/Amazon/PalPal shareholders how many $ they are missing out on.
