The cylinder on my 30 year old Super Redhawk started to free spin. I took it apart and cleaned t, and tried again. After about 20 rounds it started to free spin again. I called Ruger and they told me due to its age and custom work done on it, they may not do anything, and that if they did I would have to pay for it.
They received my gun on Monday 19th. I got the gun back the following Monday. They replaced all internal springs, the pawl, and cylinder latch. Then fired 6 rounds and cleaned the gun. All free of charge.
