A sad note---Update

Due to possible icing conditions, our church cancelled on-site services this morning, goin to the web instead. The usual Sunday Morning bulletin was posted and emailed to members. A sad note was included, the death of a young woman. It particularly struck me as she was a Silver Eagle recipient in 2008, the 39th in order. As such she is the first recipient to succumb to death. As I looked back over my book, this makes her only 25 years old.

I talked to my pastor this morning about Brianna's death. From the information he has, she died from the complications of asthma. She had an attack and was taken to a hospital. She received breathing treatments which did not take effect and she died. An autopsy has been ordered.

Sorry for your loss Bob. But I always take heart in the thought that death comes when it is time. Not a second before or after. HE is the only one that knows when, where and how it will come. For those left behind it can be quite tragic. But sometimes for those who leave us it is a blessed release.

By the ordering of an autopsy I'm sure doctors suspect some other obstruction may have been present.
