Minneapolis should be it's own state, like the Vatican, and leave the rest of us alone ;)
Likewise in Colorado, Denver and the rest of the Front Range should be a separate state.
Actually that's true of much of the US. The larger cites are much different from the rural areas. Cities are more likely to be Democratically controlled. Rural is more likely to be Republican.

BTY I raised a family in southern Minnesota and now live in Durango Colorado.

In the last election I see that Virginia has joined the Peoples Democratic Republics of Oregon, California, Washington, Maryland, Mass., NY, Illinois, Colorado, and Minnesota. That is 10 States that have gone Socialist out of 50 states that's 20%. I failed to list Hawaii, those folks have never embraced freedom and the idea of a Constitutional Republic since the pineapple people deposed the Queen.

Don't forget Del., NJ, Conn., and R.I.

yea, all moroons that vote for the power driving to take away you rights. Who thinks like that? our elected officials are to hold up the bill of rights, but they tarnish it with the corrupted minds. and the lemmings that vote for them. shame...for shame

As a former minnesodan: unfortunately a lot of those red areas on the map are devoid of people... with the massive populations of the metro area's it is difficult get our vote out... when this whole nation began we were an agricultural nation.... then the industrial revolution hit and that changed everything.. I'm not sure the founding fathers "measures" to counteract this, was sufficient...
If we can get the schools back we have a shot... but that is the "long game".. most of us won't be here to see the results...
still we need to adopt the lefts strategy... it obviously works....

It will be extremely hard to get our schools back. Those with the knowledge of what is wrong with the school system are dying off. I am not giving up, but it seems to be a losing game.

yep.... I never said it would be easy!!..... I have a friend who has 3 young'uns... I buy them books from "The Tuttle Twins", and the "Rush Revere books.. there are resources out there, and more and more people are writing history for kids... it's a start... grass roots I guess..;)

Any right leaning teacher would be held back by the system. Called a racist and a Nazi. Totally ostracized by their peers, and quickly find a different line of work.

In my opinion, VietNam was the cause, all the draft dodgers stayed in college and became teachers. Then they taught the next generation of teachers and professors. The VN era also taught kids it’s cool to protest the Government. Now they go to college looking for something to protest.

I had teachers who were combat veterans. My kids did not have any teachers who were veterans.
