Is that one of those brush planes designed for take off and landing on short runways?
Great pictures!

That first picture is REALLY nice.
Seeing as there are three of them
maybe the could be the Red Triangles.

Thanks Guys,

To answer your questions. The plane is a FX-3 Carbon Cub like the one we just finished building. Yes it is a very good back country landing off airport plane. The pictures are taken by a world class photographer, who is a friend of ours, from a Beechcraft A-36 with the door off and a hole in the floor. Go to his web site to see more great photos. He is one of the few that can fly with the Blue Angles and T Birds.

I still miss flying my Super Cub. In fact I really miss having a flying machine of any type. Good to see that picture.
Three of us flew our Cubs backwards over Kotzebue, AK once. We were in close formation although in a Vee flying across the village with a steady 38kt wind. A 150 Cub's stall speed is less than that so we were effectively being blown backward over town. One of our friends on the ground took a 8mm film of the action but unfortunately it didn't look like much, just three Cubs flying together. Of course he was shooting upward from the ground so it didn't look like much.

Yeah buddy, I hung out with North Western Flight Service. They rebuilt a Cessna 150 Ranger while I was there. I was a gofer, being a nurse I attended to the mechanic like I did doctors in the ER or Surgery. Neat perks came because of it! No money per se, but I did get some flight time, and ride alongs on some almost empty trips!
