A few gp100 q's

Just got my first GP100 this last xmas and I love it. The only thing I want to change is the front sight, big surprise. It isn't my primary home defense gun so I don't want to spring for the meprolight setup, just something brighter to line up. I've narrowed it down to the marble fiber optic and the fiber optic from ruger. Any opinions? The ruger ones says a gunsmith should install but that can't be right? I'd really love a gold dot but all those seem to be custom jobs, so probably more than I want to spend just now.

I know there is already a thread on this but I couldn't seem to find it again even through the search function.

My other question was the allison chamber brushs, do they work? are they worth the money or just a gimmick?

I put a HiViz fiber optic front sight on mine and like it. You can get them for ~$30 so it's not a huge investment. Might try that before dropping the big $
