77/22 ? RSI

I posted the other day looking for a 77/22 RSI and one of our members gave me the number to a shop that had one. Then I got to thinking instead of spending close to $800 I'll call Ruger and see if I can get a stock for my 77/22 and A. spend less B. Keep my 77/22 that I like alot and not have to sell it to pay for another 77/22. Great idea!
I called Ruger and they informed me they have never made a 77/22 RSI :roll: I asked then who makes the stocks for the 77/22 RSI that Lipseys sells? He didn't know.
They look like a Ruger stock to me. So are elves at Lipsey making these stocks? what gives?

Ruger is making them. My guess is that some of their customer service reps aren't aware of all the non cataloged models.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if plans for a LR. version in blue are on the horizon? I see the new one is .22mag and I have no need for a mag, now a .22 Hornet that would be sweeet! I can reload .22 Hornet, 22 mag is just too expensive to plink with.

We are still doing the stainless/walnut 22LR for 2013 as well as the 22mag blue/walnut. All other variations are on the table for later runs.

Jason if you could get Eley to make some more 17 mach2 I might be up for an international one of those.
