6" GP 100 SIGHT

Just bought a new GP 100 and would like to change my front sight. Can anyone suggest something they like and will work in a leather holster. The black blade is not to my liking. I see a fiber optic with interchangeable lite pipes and was considering it but thought I could get some input from here.

I added a fiber optic front sight to my 4" GP and am very pleased with it. The GP makes front sight changes extremely easy.

A fiber optic works for me. I also tried a small brass bead and that worked well but it took too long to aim. For a self-defense or home-defense gun you want something that gets on target fast and the fiber optic does just that.

I agree with both of the two preceding posts. I got the new F/O after I got my 4" SP, which had the F/O factory-installed, and I saw how much I liked it. I then added one to my 6" GP, and there's no complaints here.

The green fiber optic works best for me.
