Received my SS 4 5/8" BH a couple of weeks ago. Barrel straight! Fit. finish and function good. Have put a couple of hundred reloads down the spout. No leading that a nylon brush wouldn't take care of. Am happy.............Except for the grips.......Those cheap ass plastic(white or black) grips are ill fitting and junk. Wish Ruger woud go backl to wood or just sell their guns WITHOUT grips.

I believe the plastic grips are there because of the little mainspring lock thing....... :roll:

I cannot stand shooting a big bore fitted with those "cheese graters"!

All my Ruger single actions, NM's and OM's (23 so far) have grips by Cary Chapman. He does nice work.
