The Lipsey website list the SS 44spl as a TALO exclusive, but I didn't see it mentioned on the TALO website. It also lists the gun with black plastic grips. That would be ashame, nice wood grips would look better.

I prefer brushed. Here's an OM 44 Special I recently finsihed with brushed metalife on the frame, hammer, and trigger (the cylinder and barrel are SS...the gripframe is polished aluminum):

My local gun shop just got off the phone with Lipsey's looking to order me one of their 44 specials in stainless. This gun shop is a "preferred dealer" with Lipsey's and got me a blued 44 special in 2 days when everybody else was waiting months. Anyway, Lipsey's said they do not have any of the ss 44 specials and would not be getting anymore, but "something very similar will be available very soon and will not be a Lipsey's exclusive". Could this be the mystery new Ruger?
