I just picked up a mold for my .44mag that drops a beautiful fn bullet at 335 grains. Just wondering what everyone is using for loads for this bullet weight

I had a SSK design mold made by NEI that I bought new in the late 70's and sold a couple of years ago that dropped at about 330gr. I don't remember the exact charge of WW296 I used but it certainly was accurate out of a SBH I had at the time. If I find my records from those years I will certainly let you know.

thanks Chief I've found a few loads but none of my books show a bullet that heavy I guess it's time to buy some new books

Good point I forgot all about them its usually the first place I look

Im' using hard cast 290gr with 21.5gr of WW296 and getting an average of 1300fps and outstanding accuracy. Hopes this helps.
