Evidently this has been out for months with No Fanfare whatsoever!!! Who has one? Have you shot it side by side with an original??? Are slide kits going to be available??? Are they going to make a ported version with the original length barrels??? What's up with the Stealth Release???

I might have to spring for one of these but my standard version exceeds all expectations already!!!

I am definitely going to get one, because the longer recoil spring "should" help to make the gun less snappy. Not that the gun is uncomfortable snappy, but the softer, the better. I just hope they make a 15 round magazine for range use.
Buds Gun Shop has them for $95.00

Unless some has already done it, Ill call Ruger customer service on Monday as see what they say about the spring. I have to buy something "gunish" lest I explode. Although financial decrepitude has fallen upon me. But $ 100.00. I may yield to temptation.

It doesn't look like either kit includes a recoil spring.
I was watching a youtube video, and I noticed that when the long slide is locked back, there is no recoil spring protruding in the front of the gun. This means that the long slide uses the same recoil spring as the regular Max9. Had the recoil spring had the same length of the slide, you definitely would see the guide rod protruding out, especially because the frame length is the same as the regular Max 9. I will still get it though.
