I'm thinking of switching out my trigger for my California compliant pistol for a Galloway external short stroke trigger. Their other trigger package which includes the trigger safety is out of stock. However, the one they have available eliminates the trigger safety. How critical is the trigger safety on these pistols?

The purpose of the trigger with the safety in the middle is a drop safety. It can also keep
the trigger from being pulled if it brushes against something that pushes the side of the trigger but doesn't depress the blade. Does the California compliant Max 9 have a thumb safety? You are the only one who can decide how important it is to you to have the trigger safety.
