358 Winchester

Has Ruger stopped chambering the 358 winchester in the Hawkeye? I am in the market for one and do not see it listed. If not chambered any more does anyone know where I can fine one.

They have done some different runs of them. Who knows when, what, and if they will again. What model are you looking for? Check the auction sites and put a WTB in the classifieds here.

Looking through my Ruger catalogs, it looks like they offered the 358 in blued/walnut in 2008 and 2009, and the SS all-weather in 2007, 2008, and 2009. They also apparently offered a non-cataloged run of all-weathers in 2012.

I have one in a Frontier Rifle too, maybe 4 years old or so.

I recently bought one through http://www.budsgunshop.com. It was not in the ruger catalogue or on the computer. I drug my feet the first time I saw it at buds and they sold out. I put it on the wish list and I was notified in about two weeks that it was available. It was a stainless/synthetic stock. The price was $451+$5 insurance+ $15 ffl transfer fee. Total OTD was $471.
