Serial number 25776 .357 with 4 5/8 barrel what would be year of manfacture and what grips should this have?

Very early 1960? XR3, not sure composition but others will know.

It could have either hard rubber OR walnut grips in that era.

And if walnut grips, it should have the black Eagle medallions, XR3 on the grip frame under the grips and blue screw and escutcheons.

Guns in that serial number range on Bob's List shipped in December of 1959.

Some have "walnuts" and some have "black plastic" . . . and yes, either of these XR3 types would have "black eagles".
