I happen to have some Speer Gold Dot 115 grain bullets and want to try some in my SSM. Anyone recommend some starting load data or anyone have a Speer manual that may show a 115 gr load for the H&R mag? I was under the impression that the 115 Gold Dot was intended for the 327 Magnum but would like to try them anyways.

Some discussion here, but might be for cast loads: http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=95918

I've toyed with the 115 grain Gold Dot in my 4 5/8" Single Six a little bit. Most of that is on hold due to the lack of availability of the bullet, and I have never been able to find any load data for it in .32 H&R, so my experimentation has just basically been winging it. All these loads proved safe in my gun and didn't show any pressure signs. The same may not be true for anyone else's. All my loads used Starline brass and Federal SP primers with a COL of 1.350".

4.7 grains HS-6, 755 fps
7.0 grains 2400, 856 fps
8.0 grains 2400, 1007 fps
