H-108

My dad has 4 unopened pounds of h-108. What is this powder good for and anyone have a load sheet on it. He can't remember what he used it for.

I have used H-108 in single shot target rifles for a cartridge called .32 Miller Short (.357 mag case tapered to .32 cal). Powder is similar to AA #9 or 4100. Yes it was sold in bulk directly from Hodgon. When I ran out, I switched to AA #9 and loads were within 0.1 gr (less for AA #9) to get the same velocity. I don't recall any load sheets included but you could ask Hodgon.

I looked on the internet, several blogs mention this powder, burns in the range of AA9, 2400.

If you decide to part with it, I'm interested.

I use it for my 10" 41 mag Desert Eagle, and you can see the load that was discussed w/ Hodgdon when I acquired this sheet years ago. Every batch is somewhat different, work up is very necessary.

It runs this beast flawlessly…
