22/77 Hornet...Questions re: triger and magazine

I did a "search" but came up empty. I have the "All Weather" model that I bought from a buddy. The trigger is too heavy. Is it adjustable? Are there any aftermarket triggers available for this rifle in this caliber? Recommendations welcome! Timney, Rifle Basix, or...? Also, I'm not really thrilled with the rotary magazine. Are there any after market magazines out there? One that holds 10 rounds would be really sweet, but I've really GOT to do something about that factory trigger. :?

If it were me I'd also get the chamber cut to K-Hornet.

You have a fine gun. Yes,, aftermarket triggers are available. I'd suggest a Timney. Solid rep and they've been doing it right for years.
As for the rotary magazine,, no help there. It's a tried & true proven type that Ruger has been using since 1964,, and it does work.

My 77/22H came with a tuned trigger. It said it had a Volquartsen sear, http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=13867/Product/RUGER_77_22_reg__TARGET_SEAR . I just know it is about the greatest rifle trigger I've ever felt.

Replacing the sear is an easy and cheap fix that will greatly improve the trigger. I also recommend the Volquartsen sear.

I'd recommend CT Precision. Real gunsmithing, not drop-in parts.
I have had them do the "beyond-bolt-tightening on a 77/22 and it was amazing.

But as has been said, Timney has what you need if you're mechanical.
