2015 Ruger Price Prediction !

Last night I was at a high end party with a world famous and renown astrologer and reader. I got to talk to her about the economy and her predictions. Being skeptical, I eventually got around to asking her about where she saw future prices going for hobby collectors and the like. She asked me to give her more clarity and detail in exactly what I was actually referring to... I mentioned to her some of my various hobbies I have etc. Some of her predictions were pro and some were con, however, one of the VERY pro comments was about guns and Ruger in particular. To my amazement, she predicted that the prices and the values, due to heavy demand and rising production costs in 2015, were going to almost double by the end of the year ! Please don't shoot the messenger, I'm just passing along her prediction..... Do I believe it ? Only time will tell.....

Ain't that the truth, but all kidding aside, and knowing she has the reputation for being the real deal among the rich and famous, I really was amazed. But, when you think about it, and companies such as Colt possibly facing bankruptcy according to some sources, and of course the low prices that Ruger currently charges for their quality guns ya never know... I mean look at the SR1911 or their new AR15 coming out. Pretty good deals for such high quality guns imho compared to others that charge much more.... certainly will be fun to revisit this thread next holiday season at the end of 2015...

Nope I don't believe it a couple years ago maybe because of the panic not some phony predictions, sells have been steadily dropping off and getting back to normal levels, and leftie has no chance with a GOP lead congress to pass any anti-gun infringements for the next two years, I would expect the prices to drop if anything but none of us can read the future, should of asked her for Saturdays lottery numbers then you would only have to wait two more days to see she fake as a 3 dollar bill instead of waiting till next year.

Well... Don't say I didn't warn ya... Watch for much lower production numbers in the manufacture of hi demand Rugers and as the demand numbers exceed production numbers... Well you do the math. Expect this starting this spring and summer... Keep your eye on the MSRP's as they start heading north...

Someone is confusing the introduction of cheaper models with lower prices across the line. AR prices are fairly low cuz the boom is gone and they just are not that hard to make -- everybody and their third uncle jumped on that bandwagon during the Obama boom and shelves and shows are jammed with them now. The new plastic guns cannot command highest prices. The wood and metal standard offerings -- now luxury category by default-- still have annually escalating MSRPs to kep profit margins up -- even w/o any design improvements or better wood.

Sounds like your a believer, I bet the woman never even heard of Ruger till you mentioned the name and explain what they make.

With demand leveling out and Rugers new plant in NC to increase production I see higher manufacture numbers catching up with demand not lower in my math.

Ruger has three factories to run every day. One in hoc for a $10M tax deal they cannot renege on (>8 yrs left?). Volume & large contracts, not pricing their products out of the market, make the year. Renewed intimidation efforts on lenders to gun makers, suppliers, and retailers is real and increasing which may darken the 2015 we get.

Be more concerned with your own ability to retain the guns you have.
Already mere accusation of certain non-felony crimes gets you life without gun ownership/a prohibited possessor.
Imagine losing your civil rights because you skipped health care insurance or... Nahhh. That'd never happen.
